HENRICO CO., VA., June 29, 2018 – Henrico-based Gumenick Properties has begun leasing space in its newest commercial office building to be constructed at Libbie Mill-Midtown. Offering 142,000 square feet of Class A office and retail space, Harp’s Landing at Libbie Mill-Midtown office building is planned to be available for occupancy in 2020.

Harp’s Landing, with a glass, steel and brick exterior, will feature five floors of office space over a ground floor of retail and/or office space.  Floor-to-ceiling windows will provide tenants with views of Libbie Lake and the park-like, recreational setting that is the heart of Libbie Mill-Midtown. In addition, Harp’s Landing is planned to have ground level retail and will have garage parking with covered pedestrian access to the building entrance.  HKS is the architect for Harp’s Landing.

“It’s been more than a decade since an office building like Harp’s Landing has been constructed in midtown Richmond,” states Gumenick Properties’ Vice President of Property Management Skip Nash, “and it will be a signature building in the center of our growing community. It is an ideal opportunity for a business to create a distinctive office environment in a location that is convenient for a workforce across the region.”

Several businesses already call Libbie Mill–Midtown home, including Marsh & McLennan and Richmond Memorial Health Foundation. Gumenick’s Nash says Libbie Mill – Midtown’s current masterplan includes up to one million square feet of commercial space which will make it one of the largest employment centers in Central Virginia. Leasing for Harp’s Landing at Libbie Mill-Midtown is being handled by CBRE|Richmond.

Fire, Flour & Fork 2017 at Libbie Mill-Midtown

Sauer's Spices Presented A Reel Getaway Luncheon at Shagbark

On November 2, Walter Bundy hosted Jeremiah Bacon and Chris Hastings for the Fire, Flour & Fork kick-off luncheon at Shagbark. Each delicious course celebrated Sauer's 130th anniversary. In addition, Sauer's gave each diner a special parting gift. Crafted bourbon cocktails were served by Blade and Bow and a book-signing of Reel Masters took place after lunch.

Shagbark Voted Richmond’s Best New Restaurant

Libbie Mill-Midtown is THRILLED to share that the Richmond Times Dispatch voted Shagbark as Richmond’s Best New Restaurant for 2017. We are absolutely inclined to agree. Congratulations, Walter!

“Shagbark brings new meaning to the phrase “farm-to-table.” The seasonal bounty of local farmers, fishermen and artisans takes center stage at this sophisticated eatery at Libbie Mill, with flavor combinations almost as surprising as the story behind its communal table. (You’ll just have to go and ask.)”

If you haven’t had the opportunity to dine at Shagbark yet, you’re missing out! Come see what the buzz is all about.
