Libbie Mill to Host Fundraising Walks

It is that time of year! We are thrilled to share that Libbie Mill will be partnering with three incredible non-profit organizations to host their annual walk events in our community.

You can check out event dates and details below, along with maps showing each event’s walk route within Libbie Mill, lane and road closures, and parking areas open for event attendees. We look forward to seeing you at one or each of these fundraising events later this year!


Safe Harbor Walk to End It

Saturday, September 30 @ 8:00am

  • Event program will be hosted at Libbie Lake Pier

  • Walk route will run in a loop along Libbie Lake East Street, Libbie Lake South Street, Libbie Lake West Street and Bethlehem Road.

  • Innermost driving lane along walk route at Libbie Lake East Street, Libbie Lake South Street and Libbie Lake West Street will be closed to vehicle traffic.

  • Parallel parking along closed lane is prohibited.


Making Strides of Central Virginia

Sunday, October 15 @ 12:00PM

  • Event program will be hosted at Libbie Lake Pier.

  • Libbie Mill East Boulevard and Libbie Lake East Street adjacent to Penstock Quarter and Wellsmith will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7:00am on October 15th.

  • Walk route will run in a loop along Libbie Lake East Street, Libbie Lake South Street, Libbie Lake West Street and Bethlehem Road.

  • Innermost driving lane along walk route at Libbie Lake East Street, Libbie Lake South Street and Libbie Lake West Street will be closed to vehicle traffic.

  • Parallel parking along closed lane is prohibited.


Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Saturday, November 4th @ 8:30AM

  • Event program will be hosted at Libbie Lake Pier.

  • Libbie Mill East Boulevard and Libbie Lake East Street adjacent to Penstock Quarter and Wellsmith will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7:00am on November 4th.

  • Walk route will run along Roux Street, Bakers Mill Lane, Libbie Lake East Street, Libbie Lake South Street, Libbie Lake West Street and Bethlehem Road.

  • Innermost driving lane along walk route at Libbie Lake East Street, Libbie Lake South Street and Libbie Lake West Street will be closed to vehicle traffic.

  • Parallel parking along closed lane is prohibited.
