D.A. Davidson Opens Newest Richmond Office in Libbie Mill-Midtown
/Libbie Mill - Midtown, the vibrant mixed-use community developed by Henrico-based Gumenick Properties, is proud to announce that nationally recognized investment firm D.A. Davidson has leased approximately 10,857 square feet of office space in the Emmer Row building at 4901 Libbie Mill East Boulevard, Suite 210. This exciting addition highlights the continued demand for high-quality office and retail space within Libbie Mill - Midtown. Colliers International represented Libbie Mill - Midtown in the transaction, while CBRE represented D.A. Davidson. D.A. Davidson took possession of the space in early April and has already welcomed its first employees, with tenant improvements underway.
Founded in 1935, D.A. Davidson has grown from a small brokerage into a diversified financial services leader, offering tailored investment solutions to individuals, corporations, and institutions across the United States. “From the restaurants, to the offices and shops, to the apartments, there is so much excitement and energy in the Libbie Mill development - which is how we feel about opening this new office in Richmond!” said Joseph Farmer, AIF®, CWS®, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor at D.A. Davidson. “The space has such a professional appearance which matches how we want to present to our clients. Plus, it is right in our client’s backyard, so they will be able to come to our office with convenience and ease, and hopefully enjoy some of the other amenities in the area.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome D.A. Davidson to Libbie Mill!” said Diane Tidwell, director of property management for Gumenick Properties. “Their arrival brings another dynamic office user to the Emmer Row building and will contribute to increased foot traffic for our surrounding businesses, shops, and restaurants.” This announcement follows closely on the heels of RVA Bakehouse signing a lease in the Penstock Quarter building - further evidence of Libbie Mill - Midtown’s appeal as a dynamic, all-in-one destination. “When you look at our tenant mix, it’s clear we’ve built a community that truly supports how people want to live today - a neighborhood you can live, work, learn, and play all steps from your front door.”
With the addition of D.A. Davidson, only two commercial spaces remain available - 1,364 square feet in the Penstock Quarter building adjacent to Blue Ridge Cyclery and HBA Architecture, and 2,337 square feet in the second-generation “Midtown Design Gallery” space in the Emmer Row building next to Shagbark.
